Thanks to dozens of contributors, RCLC is moving closer to its goal of raising $85,000 for our annual fund drive.  A recent appeal was sent to donors for the operational budget for RCLC projects and programs.

The $64,708 raised so far for annual support will enable RCLC to continue its protection and management of the Gualala Bluff Trail, Cooks Beach, Hearn Gulch Preserve, Mill Bend and other RCLC projects. About $20,000 remains to be raised for this fiscal year to meet the goal.

Although RCLC raises funds for major improvements to its projects through government and foundation grants, RCLC relies on individual donations from its contributors for its ongoing project costs such as trail maintenance, habitat protection and restoration.

Donations also enable RCLC to make needed improvements and expansions to RCLC projects and help cover the ongoing costs of doing land trust business such as required insurance, legal and other regulatory fees, association fees, and public education and outreach.

“I want to thank everyone who contributed to this year’s annual fund”, says Tina Batt, RCLC president.  “Community support for the Mill Bend project has been outstanding, but it’s great to know that donors are also willing to help support our ongoing costs to responsibly maintain all of RCLC’s projects and programs. “

Contributions to the 2021 annual fund can still be made at old.rclc.org/give/donate, or the yellow button above left,  or by sending a check to P.O. Box 1511, Gualala, CA 95445.
